VOLUNTEERING YOUR TIME AND TALENTS WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

The Indiana County Humane Society relies heavily on volunteers to help achieve our mission. Donating time at our shelter can be as rewarding for the volunteer as it is for the animals.

Volunteering at the shelter is as easy as:

1. Complete a volunteer application and sign a waiver of liability. Applications may be obtained in person at the Shelter.
    

2. Attend a volunteer orientation to learn about volunteer opportunities and shelter rules.
    

3. Come to the shelter and get involved! We need you!!!

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

In the Kennel: Dog Walking, Dog Obedience Training, Cat Socialization, Animal Care (Cleaning, Bathing, Grooming) Adoption Counselors, Drivers (using our vehicle to take animals to rescue, the Groomers and Veterinarian).

In the Office: Photographers, Secretarial Duties, Newsletter, Errands, and Computer Work

In the Community: Putting up Posters, Humane Educators, Publicity, Fundraising
